Announcement of the Winners of the Sand Centers Award for Excellence in E-Services in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate.

the Directorate of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate announced the winners of the Sanad Centers Award for Excellence in E-Services for the year 2024, during a ceremony held at the Oman Through Time Museum in the Wilayat of Manah.

The award aims to enhance integration and partnership with Sanad service centers, improve the quality of services provided, expedite transaction completion, and increase productivity, in addition to supporting the digital transformation strategy for e-government.

Hilal bin Badr Al-Rashdi, Director of the Directorate of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion in Al Dakhiliyah, explained that the award, launched in July 2024, is the first of its kind at the governorate level, targeting Sanad centers to enhance the quality of e-government and private services according to the highest standards.

He added that the award saw participation from 45 centers across various wilayats in the governorate and went through several phases, including establishing evaluation criteria, which encompassed the quality of services provided, the number of completed transactions, the extent of centers’ utilization of their powers in processing transactions on the “Oman Business” platform, as well as the number of employees and registered users on the Sanad centers’ electronic portal. Additionally, the centers’ adherence to the approved design and specified prices, as well as participation in meetings and training workshops organized by government entities, were also considered.

The ceremony included a visual presentation about the award and its objectives, along with a review of the role of Sanad centers in providing government and private e-services.

The results of the award revealed that the “Al-Sharq National Towers” center from the Wilayat of Bidbid won first place, while the “Jarnan for Distinguished Services” center from the Wilayat of Izki secured second place, and the “Al-Wisam for Printing and Transaction Clearance” center from the Wilayat of Nizwa came in third.

At the end of the ceremony, His Excellency Dr. Saleh bin Said Masan, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion for Commerce and Industry and the event’s sponsor, crowned the winners of the top three positions and honored the sponsoring entities and companies.
