MUSCAT Statistics by the Directorate General of Manpower show that 635 citizens were recruited in various private sector establishments in Dhofar in January.
These included 246 job seekers with qualification less than General Education Diploma, 311 with General Education Diploma and its equivalent, 37 with university diploma, 40 with college degrees and one with master’s degree.
Statistics also show that more than 4,600 citizens were appointed during 2018 in Dhofar governorate. These included 1,656 job seekers with qualification less that General Education Diploma, 2,126 with General Education Diploma and its equivalent, 431 with university diploma, 397 with college degrees, 13 with master’s degree and four with PhD.(Oman Daily)
