Al-Buraimi concluded today the events of the travelling student exhibition “Memory of Homeland”, hosted by Al-Buraimi governorate and organized by the National Documentation and Archives Authority over a period of 4 days.
The exhibition, held at a safe school, included Imam Jaber bin Zeid’s bint “70”, a national document and five diverse pillars, as well as 1,149 digital and interactive documents, with VR techniques that allowed visitors a distinctive interactive experience as well as cultural competitions.
The exhibition highlighted the historical legacy of the Sultanate of Oman, in order to consolidate national memory and familiarize generations with Oman’s long history, by receiving a number of students from Buraimi schools to enhance their national identity and enrich their historical knowledge.
The closing ceremony was sponsored by Hilal bin Rashid Al-Ghaithi, member of the Shura Council, representative of Buraimi State.
