MUSCAT:
Takatuf Oman has invited applications for the 2025 Oman Scholars Enrichment Programme, targeting 11th-grade Omani students who have achieved a minimum 75% in English and an overall 75% GPA in the first semester of 11th grade, or equivalent in international education systems.
The top-performing students from the evaluation stage will be selected to join the prestigious 14-month Oman Scholars Enrichment Programme, which includes:
- A three-week residential summer program focused on academic, cultural, and personal development.
- An independent learning phase during the first semester of 12th grade, aimed at fostering self-learning and leadership skills.
- A winter workshop designed to enhance skills and prepare students for future challenges.
Only candidates who complete all phases of the program will earn the title of “Oman Scholar.”
Out of 180 candidates, 40 outstanding students will be awarded an international scholarship covering two years at an international boarding school and four years at a top 100 QS-ranked university.
The program is not just about scholarships; it aims to develop leaders who embody Omani values and national pride. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of Oman’s future vision, receive professional and personal development, improve their academic skills and English proficiency, and enhance independence, confidence, and essential soft skills for success.
Takatuf Oman stated:
“Our alumni network stands as a testament to the program’s impact, with graduates excelling in various fields while contributing to Oman’s growth and proudly representing the nation.”
Applications for the 2025 program will close in early March, with specific deadlines and updates to be shared through the official Oman Scholars Programme platforms.
