Muscat:

The Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OCCI) organized a franchise business meeting on Thursday, during which 13 franchise agreements were signed for businesses operating within and outside Oman.
The meeting, titled “Agreements and Development,” also witnessed the signing of three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with new brands participating in the third edition of the Franchise Initiative.
These agreements and MoUs are key outcomes of the third edition of the Franchise Program, which aims to equip Omani business owners and companies with the necessary skills to leverage franchise opportunities.
The program also focuses on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship by offering advanced training workshops on how to integrate innovative strategies into franchise business models. These workshops help businesses expand into new markets, manage franchise operations effectively, and adopt sustainable growth strategies.
Additionally, the initiative contributes to job creation, economic diversification, and strengthening Oman’s GDP by providing sustainable business opportunities.
The event was attended by Qais Mohammed Al Yousef, Minister of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion, along with Faisal Abdullah Al Rawas, Chairman of OCCI, and other key officials.
