The Royal Air Force of Oman today commemorated the graduation of a batch of new soldiers from the military parade field at the base of Ghala and the Sultan Qaboos Air Academy, under the auspices of Major General Saif bin Nasser Al-Rahabi, commander of the Royal Navy of Oof Oman.
The ceremony began with a military tribute to the sponsor of the event and peace of honour was played. The sponsor then inspected the front row of the graduate queue, after which the graduates performed a military show with the slow track accompanying the military musical torpedoes of the music of the Royal Air Force of Oman, followed by a review of the arms movements.
Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman, Major General Al-Nakn Bahri, sponsor of the occasion, also awarded prizes to first-place recipients. Soldier Faisal bin Fadil Al Amiri, where he achieved first place at the general level of the course, The first position in the military infantry was soldier Hamid bin Jama ‘a al-Jalababi Soldier Qais bin Khamis al-Amiri obtained the first position in the shooting of light weapons and soldier Aisha bint Khalfan al-Capitiyah secured the first position at the level of female soldiers.
In conclusion, the graduates echoed the tribute of the Omani Royal Air Force, sworn loyalty and cheered three on the life of His Majesty the Sultan Haitham Ben Tariq Al-Mazim, Commander-in-Chief – God preserved and sponsored him – and then played the music of the Omani Royal Air Force Peace of Honor.
The graduation ceremony was attended by a number of senior officers of the Sultan’s armed forces and other military and security agencies, a number of His Excellencies, a number of officers, non-commissioned officers, members of the Royal Air Force of Oman and a number of parents of graduates.
