Today, the Sultan’s Armed Forces celebrated the inauguration of the (Sa’a, Ain Al-Hilwah, and Al-Safa) camps for the Border Guard Brigade of the Sultan’s Armed Forces.
The event was held under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser Al-Zaabi, Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, and attended by Major General Matar bin Salem Al-Balushi, Commander of the Sultan’s Armed Forces, along with several senior officers. This inauguration is part of the ongoing modernization and development plans for the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other units within the Ministry of Defense.
His Excellency, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Defense, unveiled commemorative plaques for each of the (Sa’a Camp, Ain Al-Hilwah Camp, and Al-Safa Camp) and listened, along with the attendees, to a briefing about the facilities and installations of the camps, as well as the national roles and missions they undertake.
The patron of the event also toured the various facilities and installations of the camps, reviewing the equipment and supplies provided to meet the national duties assigned to them.
