The Supreme Judicial Council held its third meeting for the year 2025 today, chaired by His Excellency Sayyid Mohammed bin Sultan Al Busaidi, Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council. The meeting discussed several topics on its agenda in accordance with the Council’s mandate to oversee the courts, judges, and the Public Prosecution, improve the quality of judicial services, and develop the digital infrastructure of the judicial sector to support swift justice and enhance transparency. It also addressed topics and decisions related to the administrative and functional affairs of the Supreme Judicial Council.
During the meeting, the Council reviewed the organizational structure of the Council after it was graciously approved by His Majesty the Sultan, may God protect him. The mechanisms for implementing the provisions of the organizational structure and the royal directives in this regard were also approved.
Additionally, the Council was briefed on several topics related to the development of laws and legislation pertinent to the Council’s work.
