Expanding Bank Muscat Digital Services showcased to Customers in Buraimi

Muscat,

As part of its ongoing efforts to familiarize customers with the products and services available across its digital platforms, Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, recently hosted a seminar for customers in the Buraimi Governorate. The seminar, presented by Salim bin Mohammed Al Badi, a technical engineer and an entrepreneur, aimed to inform attendees about the various services and banking products accessible through Internet Banking and Mobile Banking.

Bank Muscat remains committed to continually enhance its digital infrastructure and staying updated with the latest technological advancements both locally and globally.

Raya bint Habib Al Shukaili, Senior Regional Manager of Bank Muscat branches in Al Batinah, Al Dhahira, and Al Buraimi, delivered a keynote speech during the seminar, highlighting the Bank’s role in meeting the needs of both individual and micro and small business owners. She emphasized the Bank’s use of cutting-edge technology across different platforms to deliver top-notch services, stating: “We are proud that Bank Muscat is the preferred banking partner for customers across the Sultanate, and we remain grateful for the ongoing trust in our products and services.”

During the seminar, attendees were introduced to the various services and transactions that can be completed through Bank Muscat’s Mobile App and Internet Banking. These include instant fund transfers locally and internationally with the ability to view exchange rates, subscribe to public offerings, give charity donations, pay bills, invest in mutual funds, open children’s accounts, apply for cards and adjust payment due dates. The session displayed the various services provided to simplify business operations through Internet Banking, enabling business owners to manage company accounts and cards, handle employee payroll transactions, view loan repayments, transfer funds locally and internationally, request VAT statements, order checkbooks, pay bills , settle supplier dues and taxes, and open fixed deposit accounts.

The seminar is part of a broader series of events the Bank plans to conduct, focusing on introducing customers to its growing suite of digital banking services. These services have expanded in response to the increasing demand for digital solutions and include features like account management, requests, transfers, card management, car insurance renewal, checkbook requests, utility bill payments, and much more.

To further strengthen its digital services, Bank Muscat has launched several new payment options for users of smart devices. These additions enhance the digital payment landscape, providing customers with convenient and secure alternatives to carrying physical cards while shopping.
