“Nurses and Health Technicians Protest Ministry of Health’s Delay in Fulfilling Commitments”

Dozens of nurses and health technicians organized a protest on Thursday in front of the Ministry of Health headquarters in Rabat, expressing their dissatisfaction with the Ministry’s delay in fulfilling its commitments to rectify their situations.

The demonstration was called for by the university offices affiliated with the Independent Nurses’ Union, during which the protesters chanted slogans and held banners demanding improvements in their conditions, including the establishment of supplementary retirement for employees of healthcare centers and the creation of a national body.

Fatima Zahra Belin, a member of the National Council of the Union, said, “This protest organized by the university offices aims to protest against the meager compensation received by nurses for their security services.”
