His Excellency Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, met today with His Excellency Murad Nurtileu, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in the capital, Astana.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and discussed various aspects of possible cooperation and ways to enhance it, particularly in the economic, cultural, and tourism sectors, as well as strengthening diplomatic cooperation. They expressed their anticipation for the convening of the joint economic committee between the two countries during this year.
On another note, the two ministers addressed several issues and developments on regional and international fronts, reaffirming their support for all peaceful efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability and establishing justice based on the principles of international law.
The two sides signed a roadmap for cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries to enhance bilateral coordination, develop partnerships in various areas of mutual interest, and advance diplomatic relations towards broader horizons that serve the common interests of both nations.
