The Omani-Yemeni Investment Facilitation Forum, organized by the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in Dhofar Governorate, discusses avenues to enhance trade and economic relations between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Yemen. The forum aims to capitalize on available investment opportunities across various sectors.
The event will take place on January 24 and 25 at the Sultan Qaboos Youth and Culture Center in Salalah. It targets entrepreneurs, investors, and owners of small and medium-sized enterprises in both sister countries.
Nayef bin Hamed Fadel, the President of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry branch in Dhofar, stated that the forum aims to strengthen economic partnership and collaboration between Oman and Yemen. It seeks to present integrated service, industrial, and tourism projects, providing Yemeni companies and business owners with insights into investment incentives and advantages in the Sultanate of Oman. The forum also facilitates the exchange of experiences and information, promotes innovation, new developmental ideas, and viable strategic initiatives.
Over the course of two days, the forum will delve into investment and developmental sectors, discussing investment activities, economic cooperation, and the key features of investing in Oman in alignment with “Vision Oman 2040.”
The forum includes panel discussions highlighting the commercial, industrial, and tourism investment potentials in Oman, featuring speakers from governmental entities, the private sector, and experts in various economic aspects. Additionally, there will be an exhibition showcasing some Omani companies.
