The Ministry of Labor has announced the completion of the field survey phase of the Labor Market Needs Project. In a post highlighted by “Ather,” the ministry reported that 60 employees from various provinces actively participated in this stage, conducting fieldwork continuously for three consecutive months from September to the end of November.
The ministry indicated an impressive response rate, reaching approximately 95% of the total sample. High response rates were observed across all provinces and various economic sectors. Currently, the central team is engaged in data analysis and crafting the final report for the project.
In August of the previous year, the Ministry of Labor had announced its collaboration with the National Center for Statistics and Information to conduct a survey of the needs of the private sector labor market, starting in September 2023 for a duration of three months. The project aims to measure and identify the labor market’s needs and requirements for various jobs and skills, foreseeing future needs in the era of industrial revolutions.
At that time, the ministry emphasized that the survey’s impact would enhance the governance of the labor market, leading to increased efficiency in institutions and programs within the labor market.
