Muscat – Organized by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion under the “Invest in Oman” initiative, the “Advantage Oman” Forum will be held in Muscat from April 27 to 28, 2025, at the St. Regis Resort – Al Mouj. The event will be held under the esteemed patronage of His Highness Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, and will host a distinguished gathering of high-level officials, decision-makers, and investors from both within the Sultanate of Oman and abroad.
The forum serves as a strategic platform to showcase the Sultanate of Oman as a promising investment destination. It will bring together around 250 prominent figures, including senior officials from the GCC countries, international investors, and business leaders from around the globe, to explore global trends in future economic sectors such as advanced manufacturing, luxury tourism, green economy, and logistics services.
A number of ministers, heads of government institutions, and private sector leaders from Oman and neighboring countries, along with international speakers from leading organizations such as Deloitte, Fitch Solutions, and the University of Oxford, will participate in the forum’s dialogue sessions.
The second day of the forum will feature roundtable discussions designed to facilitate direct engagement between investors and decision-makers. These sessions aim to discuss high-value opportunities in priority sectors and explore mechanisms for supporting and localizing investments, thereby enhancing Oman’s competitiveness on the global investment map.
The forum is expected to gain significant international media attention. Renowned journalist Richard Quest, CNN’s Business Editor, will moderate two major sessions during the event. This is part of a global media campaign in collaboration with the network, which includes television ads and digital content promoting Oman’s position as a regional and global investment hub.
The forum aligns with ongoing efforts to improve the investment climate in the Sultanate and support the goals of Oman Vision 2040, which aims to achieve sustainable economic diversification and reinforce Oman’s role as a vital economic center in the region and the world.
