ABU DHABI:
Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, received a delegation from the Family Business Council – Gulf (FBCG). During the meeting, discussions focused on the contributions of family-owned businesses to broader economic and developmental efforts, as well as on opportunities to further enhance the business environment to support their growth and expansion into new markets and international destinations.
The delegation was received at the Majlis of the Crown Prince at Al Bateen Palace, in the presence of a number of sheikhs, senior officials, business leaders and local dignitaries. The FBCG is a non-profit organization established in 2012 in the United Arab Emirates. It serves as the regional affiliate of the International Family Business Network, aiming to support the continuity and long-term success of family businesses in the GCC by providing an integrated platform for knowledge sharing, capacity building, training programs and leadership development. The Council also works to strengthen competitiveness and empower family enterprises to scale their business models across regional and global markets.
