Today, the activities of the Gulf Day for Talent and Creativity commenced in the schools of the General Directorate of Education in Dhofar Governorate, which is celebrated on the third of March each year, focusing on the educational staff and talented students.
The events included a showcase of student talents and creations in various fields, highlighting the latest innovations in artificial intelligence, as well as partnerships and coordination with universities, colleges, and educational institutions to implement scientific experiments for students.
Dr. Sharifa bint Abdullah Al-Yafei, Director of the Special Education and Continuous Learning Department at the General Directorate of Education in Dhofar Governorate, stated that the Gulf Day for Talent and Creativity aims to nurture the potential and creativity of talented students, to highlight and guide them appropriately, in addition to raising community awareness of the role of educational institutions in developing students’ skills and activating community participation in nurturing the gifted.
It is noteworthy that the establishment of the Gulf Day for Talent and Creativity reflects the commitment of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council countries to support talented students and intensifies the efforts of the Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States in this area, to provide diverse programs and activities that contribute to spreading the culture of talent and creativity.
