The Ahd Foundation has provided financial support for the twelfth edition of the humanitarian initiative “Fakk Kurba” this year, which is sponsored by the Omani Lawyers Association to contribute to the release of a group of debtors from all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
This support comes as a continuation of the efforts made to release debtors who are facing claims related to civil, commercial, legal, or labor cases, and to enhance the values of solidarity and cooperation among community members, as well as to activate partnerships and social responsibility among institutions.
It is worth noting that the “Fakk Kurba” initiative, which operates under the slogan “Because we believe that every person deserves a second chance,” has contributed to the release of more than 7,110 cases since its humanitarian journey began in 2012. Donations can be made electronically through the initiative’s website “www.fakkrba.om” and via the initiative’s bank account, in addition to donations through the “Thawani” application.
