Al Awabi
The Directorate General of Education in South Batinah Province achieved the first place in the Sultanate of Oman in the national competition for VEX robots Al Awabi was awarded on March 2, Oman. The Directorate General of Education in the Southern Batinah Province achieved the first place at the Sultanate of Oman level in the National VEX Robots Competition. Her award for excellence and a champion of robot skills allows her team to compete with teams from around the world.
The South Batinah Governorate Education Team will represent the Sultanate of Oman in the United States of America Global Competition next May.
The team consists of trainer Abdullah bin Salem Al-Abri, a scientific specialist and Olympics first in the Department of Innovation and Scientific Olympics with education in the governorate, and four students: Zakaria bin Hilal Al-Khorrousi, Walid bin Khaled Al-Bahri, Ma ‘az bin Khaled Al-Miyahi and Abdullah salem al al-Khrosi from the Sheawi School ikh.
Khaled bin Abdullah Al-Hinai, Head of School, said that achieving the first position in the Sultanate of Oman in this national competition enhances students’ experiences and increases their passion for technology and robotics. He emphasized the importance of technical education and practical skills in preparing a generation capable of meeting the challenges of the future.
