Russia’s
space agency Ross Cosmos today revealed the success of manually fitting the International Space Station’s Progres MS-30 cargo spacecraft.
The Progres MS-30, whose mission is scheduled to last 193 days, managed to transport a shipment of 6.2 tons of miscellaneous materials and equipment to the space station, including 950 kg of fuel, 420 litres of drinking water and 50 kg of nitrogen.
The Progres MS-30 was sent last Friday aboard the Soyuz 2.1A carrier rocket from the Baikonur space base in Kazakhstan.
