On behalf of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tariq, may God protect him, His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for International Relations and Cooperation and the Sultan’s Special Representative, received today in his office the Honorable Ambassador Jota Yamamoto, the Ambassador of Japan to the Sultanate of Oman, the Honorable Ambassador Amit Narang, the Ambassador of India to the Sultanate of Oman, and the Honorable Ambassador Kim Ki-jo, the Ambassador of South Korea to the Sultanate of Oman, each separately for farewell on the occasion of the conclusion of their diplomatic missions.
The ambassadors expressed their gratitude to His Majesty the Sultan for the support they received during their tenure in the Sultanate of Oman from His Majesty, the government, and the Omani people, which facilitated their work. They also conveyed their wishes for His Majesty’s continued health, happiness, and long life, as well as for the Sultanate of Oman to enjoy further prosperity and growth under His Majesty’s wise leadership.
For his part, His Highness Sayyid Asaad bin Tariq Al Said expressed his deep appreciation to the ambassadors for their efforts in enhancing cooperation and partnership between the Sultanate of Oman and their friendly countries, wishing them continued success and for their countries to enjoy security, stability, and a dignified life.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency the Secretary-General and the Advisor in His Highness’s office.
