China launched a new satellite into space from the Xichang Satellite Launch Center in Sichuan Province, southwest China.
The satellite was launched aboard a Long March 3B carrier rocket and successfully entered its predetermined orbit.
This launch marks the 560th mission of the Long March series of carrier rockets.
