Professor Dr. Yusra bint Jumaa Al-Sananiyah, a professor of curriculum and teaching at the College of Education at Sultan Qaboos University, has been granted membership in the Higher Council of the International Council on Education for Teaching (ICET), representing Arab countries during the 65th General Assembly conference held in Portugal.
This membership reflects the pioneering role and highlights the academic competencies of Oman, contributing effectively to the development of education at both regional and international levels.
Professor Dr. Yusra stated that her membership is an important step towards enhancing educational efforts in the Sultanate of Oman and expanding its influence on regional and international levels, as her efforts focus on achieving inclusivity and equality in educational policies, which aligns with the ambitious goals of the Sultanate of Oman in promoting education and improving the quality of life.
She added that this membership provides an opportunity to establish strong foundations for enhancing the status of Sultan Qaboos University in global educational forums and emphasizes the important role that the Sultanate of Oman plays in global educational initiatives, alongside promoting cooperation among Arab countries in the fields of education and teaching within the global community.
