Cairo,
The Sultanate of Oman today took part in Cairo meeting of the International Alliance for the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.
Titled “Supporting UNRWA in the Context of the Two-State Solution”, the meeting was hosted by the Arab Republic of Egypt as part of a ongoing conferences of the Global Alliance for the Two-State Solution.
The meeting aimed to discuss practical steps for the establishment of the Palestinian State.
Oman was represented at the meeting by Sheikh Faisal Omar Al Marhoon, Head of the Arab Department at the Foreign Ministry.

It is worth noting that Cairo meeting was the fourth one of its kind after Riyadh, Brussels and Oslo meetings of the International Alliance to Implement the Two-State Solution.
The Alliance was formed in September 2023 on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly meetings in New York.
