Signing of 8 agreements to implement integrated residential neighborhoods and plans with investments exceeding 68 million Omani Riyals.

the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning signed 8 partnership and development agreements today to implement integrated residential neighborhoods and housing schemes (Surooh) across various governorates of the Sultanate of Oman, with an investment value exceeding 68 million Omani Rials, covering an area of more than 1.7 million square meters.

These agreements are part of the ministry’s efforts to provide housing alternatives for eligible citizens in a community with comprehensive services and specifications that ensure stability and social well-being, contributing to meeting citizens’ needs and enhancing the attractiveness of real estate investment in the Sultanate of Oman.

The agreements relate to the implementation of integrated residential neighborhood projects that will provide more than 1,300 housing units equipped with modern facilities that meet the requirements of contemporary life. These neighborhoods will include commercial centers, recreational facilities, and green spaces, contributing to the establishment of vibrant communities that meet the needs of various population groups and promote the concept of integrated housing based on sustainability and quality of life.

The integrated residential neighborhood projects are distributed across four states, including the development of a complete residential neighborhood in Sur, located in the South Sharqiyah Governorate, covering an area of 268,000 square meters and comprising 407 housing units, with an investment exceeding 22 million Omani Rials, entrusted to Zain Real Estate Development Company.

In the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, a complete residential neighborhood will be implemented in the Wilayat of Samail, covering an area of 137,000 square meters and including 194 housing units, with an investment exceeding 9 million Omani Rials, being developed by Al Tamayuz Services Company. Additionally, a complete residential neighborhood will be established in the Wilayat of Izki, covering an area of 109,000 square meters and providing 182 housing units, with an investment exceeding 11 million Omani Rials, developed by Al Nama Real Estate Company.

In the Al Buraimi Governorate, a complete residential neighborhood will be developed in the Wilayat of Al Buraimi, covering an area of 78,000 square meters and comprising 521 housing units, with an investment exceeding 10 million Omani Rials, implemented by Ben Karam Modern Investment Company.

To meet citizens’ requirements for obtaining land plots within fully serviced housing schemes, 4 agreements were signed to implement integrated housing scheme projects in several governorates, providing more than 1,000 land plots. These schemes are characterized by the availability of infrastructure, including road networks, water, and electricity, along with service facilities that enhance the quality of life in these residential communities.

The agreements included the development of an integrated housing scheme in the Wilayat of Liwa in the North Al Batinah Governorate, covering an area of 592,000 square meters and comprising 515 land plots, with an investment of 5.9 million Omani Rials, implemented by Sohar Real Estate Development Company.
