Atana Hotels Group hosts annual Raeei Conference

Masira Island:

Atana Hotels Group successfully hosted its annual Raeei Conference, bringing together hotel managers from all Atana properties for a transformative leadership event.

Held on the picturesque Masira Island, the conference embodied the essence of its name—Raeei, meaning “the guide” in Arabic—symbolising leadership, vision, teamwork, and ambition.

Masira Island provided the perfect backdrop for this year’s Raeei Conference with its untouched natural beauty and serene coastal landscapes. As one of Atana’s key destinations, Masira’s amazing environment fostered deep discussions, strategic planning, and a renewed sense of purpose among the leadership team.

The conference was designed as an immersive experience, encouraging hotel managers to reflect on their leadership roles while reinforcing Atana Hotels Group’s commitment to excellence in hospitality. Throughout the event, attendees engaged in insightful discussions, workshops, and team-building activities, all tailored to enhance collaboration and innovation across the group.

This year’s Raeei Conference focused on critical areas that will shape the future of Atana Hotels Group, including:

Leadership & Vision: Defining strategic goals and reinforcing Atana’s identity in the Omani hospitality landscape.

Guest experience & service excellence: Exploring innovative ways to elevate guest satisfaction.

Sustainability & cultural integration: Strengthening Atana’s commitment to responsible tourism while preserving Omani heritage.

Teamwork & cross-property collaboration:
Encouraging knowledge-sharing and fostering a unified approach across all hotels.

Special keynote sessions featured industry experts and Atana’s senior leadership, who provided valuable insights into market trends, digital transformation in hospitality, and operational efficiencies.

Words from Marius Wolmarans, Group General Manager
Speaking at the conference, Marius Wolmarans, Group General Manager of Atana Hotels, emphasised the significance of the event in shaping the future of the brand:

“Raeei is more than just a conference—it is a movement that defines our leadership, our values, and our commitment to hospitality excellence. Hosting this gathering on Masira Island reflects our deep connection to Oman’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, which are at the heart of Atana’s identity. Our collective goal is to continuously elevate our guest experience while fostering a culture of innovation, teamwork, and sustainability across all our hotels.”

He further added, “Each of our hotel managers plays a vital role in driving the success of Atana Hotels. Through Raeei, we align our vision, share knowledge, and strengthen our leadership to ensure that Atana remains a leading name in Omani hospitality.”

As the conference concluded, the attendees left Masira Island with a renewed sense of motivation and a clear roadmap for the year ahead. The Raeei Conference reaffirmed Atana Hotels Group’s commitment to continuous improvement, ensuring that each property operates with purpose, passion, and a shared vision.

With the insights and strategies developed during Raeei 2025, Atana Hotels Group is set to embark on another year of innovation, collaboration, and exceptional hospitality across Oman.
