(BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, received Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Culture of Russia, on the occasion of her visit to the Kingdom to inaugurate the Russian Seasons in Bahrain.
His Majesty welcomed Minister Lyubimova, who conveyed the greetings and appreciation of His Excellency President Vladimir Putin of Russia, along with his best wishes for further prosperity and progress for the Kingdom and its people. In response, His Majesty conveyed his greetings and best wishes to HE the Russian President and the people of Russia for continued advancement and progress.
His Majesty the King commended the historical bilateral relations between Bahrain and Russia, reinforced by mutual commitment and efforts to develop and strengthen cooperation in all domains, particularly in the cultural domain. His Majesty commended HE President Putin’s role in developing these ties and enhancing bilateral cooperation.
His Majesty highlighted the significance of holding the Russian Seasons in Bahrain, which contributes to strengthening cultural and artistic cooperation, exchanging expertise, ideas, and experiences between Bahraini and Russian cultural institutions, thereby serving the relations between the two nations. His Majesty noted that the event aligns with the implementation of cultural agreements signed between the two countries.
On her part, Minister Lyubimova expressed her gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty the King for the welcome and hospitality she received. She highlighted His Majesty’s efforts, which have contributed to the development and growth of relations between the two countries.
