The State Council today discussed the report of its expanded Economic and Financial Committee on the draft version of the State Budget for fiscal year 2025.
The draft budget will be forwarded to the Council of Ministers, along with the recommendations of the State Council and the Shura Council, in line with the provisions of Article (52) of the Council of Oman Law.
The discussions took place during the State Council’s 4th session of the 2nd regular sitting of the Eighth Term. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Sheikh Abdulmalik bin Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council.
After extensive debate among the members, the Council approved the report of the expanded Economic and Financial Committee about the draft State Budget for the fiscal year 2025.
At the conclusion of the session, the Council reviewed the Secretariat’s General report on the Council’s activities.
