(BNA): Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives and Chairman of the Executive Committee of Bahrain’s Parliamentary Division, and Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, heads of delegations participating in the Standing Committee on Economy and Sustainable Development of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA) meeting.
The meeting included 77 members from 18 countries.
The Chairman and the Speaker affirmed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening Bahrain-Asia relations, strengthening cooperation with parliaments worldwide, and enhancing parliamentary diplomacy to solidify ties among Asian nations.
The meeting emphasised the legislative authority’s commitment to sharing expertise with Asian legislative councils on climate, environment, economy, and sustainable development, aiming to enhance Bahrain’s legislative framework.
