Dr. Saud Hamoud Al Habsi, Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources received in his office today Vadim Shagoiko, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food in the Republic of Belarus.
The meeting discussed aspects of cooperation between the two countries in the areas of agricultural and fisheries, livestock, water resources and food security. The two sides also discussed the potential of for cooperation in research and scientific studies in the Sultanate of Oman, as well as exchanging expertise and mutual visits between the two sides.
The meeting further reviewed the experience of the Republic of Belarus in developing the agricultural, fisheries and water sectors.—Ends/Thuraiya/AH
