Muscat – H E Dr Madiha bint Ahmed al Shaibaniya, Minister of Education, issued Ministerial Decision No 253/2024 on Sunday amending aspects of Ministerial Decision 152/2024 regarding the annual calendar for government and private schools.
According to the revised decision, the dates for first-semester examinations for students in Grades 5 to 11, General Education Diploma and equivalent programmes in both public and private schools, special education programmes and adult education have been rescheduled to begin on January 15 and end on February 6, 2025.
The decision also adjusts the schedule for second-semester examinations from June 11 to July 10, 2025.
