Muscat:
Represented by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs, the Sultanate of Oman on Sunday held official talks in Muscat with the Kingdom of Cambodia to discuss means of enhancing cooperation in the fields of endowments and religious affairs.
The two sides expressed their commitment to promote the values of human harmony and peaceful coexistence, notably by consolidating bilateral relations.
The Omani side at the talks was headed by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Maamari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs, while Dr. Osman Hassan, Prime Minister in charge of Islamic Affairs in the Kingdom of Cambodia, headed his country’s side.
During the session, the Ministry presented a comprehensive display showcasing Omani experiences in organizing endowments and religious affairs. It also outlined the projects of “Humanitarian Coalition” and “Message of Peace” undertaken by the Sultanate of Oman.
The two projects affirm Oman’s dedication to propagating the values of tolerance and mutual respect by organizing dialogue forums and interactive workshops that enhance mutual understanding and contribute to building bridges between societies.
The session of talks was attended by Ok Saron, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Cambodia to the Sultanate of Oman, and officials from both countries.
