Bank Muscat Organises Special Event for Female Customers and Employees

Coinciding with Omani Women’s Day

Bank Muscat, the leading financial services provider in the Sultanate of Oman, organised a special event celebrating Omani Women’s Day attended by Ilham Murtadha Al Hamaid, General Manager – Corporate Banking, and a number of female customers and employees. During the event, Rehab Sharif, Human Development and Self-awareness Consultant, delivered a seminar titled “A Joyful Life”, which focused on the importance of promoting awareness, understanding the changing dynamics of the world and the tools of sustainable happiness and how to best incorporate them to bring joy into one’s life.

During her opening speech, Ilham Murtadha Al Hamaid, General Manager – Corporate Banking, Bank Muscat, said: “The previous few years have witnessed great growth in women’s empowerment, with more opportunities and leadership roles reflecting our country’s enlightened vision. Bank Muscat prioritises Omani women’s personal and professional development. Women have played a vital role in the Bank’s journey, contributing significantly to the Bank’s prosperity over the last 40 years. We have also exerted our efforts to provide a diverse range of banking facilities and services to our female customers. We are proud of the important contribution that our female employees play in the Bank’s different departments and divisions.”

Ilham Al Hamaid commended Omani women on this day, wishing them well and success in their efforts to support the Sultanate’s development goals. She emphasized the importance of Omani women as a fundamental part of society, stating: “Their success benefits the entire community. We hope that this occasion will continue to serve as a foundation for future successes and accomplishments.”

Women assume various leadership positions at Bank Muscat and have built successful careers. During its march spanning four decades, the Bank has been keen since its inception to empower Omani women by providing them with various career, training and study opportunities. Bank Muscat is dedicated to delivering services and benefits specifically designed for women, well-received and valued by customers for their alignment with diverse banking requirements.
