A delegation from the Ministry of Education that takes part in the Global Education and Innovation Summit (GEIS) in Korea visited several scientific institutes, specialized educational companies, and Korean educational broadcasting stations to observe the latest developments in technology and digital books.
At meetings with officials from the Korea Institute of Child Care and Education, the delegation discussed ways to boost cooperation in the scientific research and development. Meeting with leaders of the Korean Educational Development Institute, it learned about key areas related to teacher training, modern teaching methods, leadership, and development. With officials from the Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation, it discussed curriculum development and licensing digital books.
The delegation also got acquainted with educational initiatives provided by the National Institute for International Education and identified areas of potential cooperation in international education.
It also visited the Korean I-Scream Media Company, which specializes in innovative educational content and multimedia, and observed the Korea Educational Broadcasting Station educational broadcasting systems.
It also visited the Korea Education and Research Information Service to explore aspects of cooperation in the field of education and scientific research.
