Ibri – The first summer forum, organised by the Office of the Governor of Dhahirah, began in Ibri on Sunday and will run until August 22 under the slogan ‘Our Summer is Creativity and Distinction’.
The forum is designed to engage the youth of Dhahirah governorate during their summer vacation through a variety of purposeful and recreational programmes.
A total of 75 boys and girls, from various age groups, are participating in the event.
The forum aims to strengthen social connections, promote scientific and practical participation among the youth, and foster a relationship with summer clubs and forums that help develop their skills.
“We want to raise a generation that is creative, thoughtful, and beneficial to the community,” said one of the organisers. The forum also seeks to instil core values, encourage a love of learning, and motivate young people towards creativity and excellence.
The programme includes a wide range of activities, focusing on creative thinking, promoting national culture, and reviving interest in the arts.
