Sayyid Badr Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister received a written message from Dimitar Glavchev, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Bulgaria dealing with bilateral relations.
This took place when Sayyid Badr received Nevyana Miteva and Maria Anguelieva, Deputy Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed areas of joint cooperation, especially in fields of economy, culture, energy, renewable energy, maritime transport and technology.
The two sides also exchanged views on regional and international issues, notably the tragic humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip as a result of the Israeli aggression. They also stressed the necessity of achieving justice for the Palestinian people, providing them with all types of relief and humanitarian aid and establishing their independent state in accordance with international law and the two-state solution.
The meeting was attended by Humaid Ali Al Maani, Head of the Global Affairs Department at the Foreign Ministry and Rumen Petrov, Bulgaria’s Director of the Middle East and Africa Directorate of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
