Deputizing for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Supreme Commander of All Military Forces, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, received today at the Royal Court in Mina Palace several Princes, the Grand Mufti of the Kingdom, senior scholars and sheikhs, GCC senior officials, ministers, and the commanders of the military sectors and scouts participating in this year’s Hajj.
The reception began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, delivered a speech, the text of which is as follows:
“In the name of Allah, the most gracious, the most merciful. Praise be to Allah, and prayers and peace be upon our Prophet Mohammed, his family, and all his companions.
Brothers, leaders of the military and security sectors, and their personnel. Dear attendees, may the peace, blessings, and mercy of Allah be upon you.
On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, I wish to congratulate you and all Muslims on the blessed Eid Al-Adha occasion. We implore Allah Almighty to accept all acts of devotion and grant us a joyous and prosperous return of this blessed Eid.
Your significant contributions and tireless efforts undertaken in service of the pilgrims have demonstrably facilitated the Hajj and enabled worshippers to perform their sacred rituals with ease and tranquility.
The state, through all its relevant sectors, remains steadfast in its commitment to providing all necessary resources to serve those who visit the two holy mosques. We strive to ensure a secure and reassuring environment for the fulfilment of their worship. May Allah Almighty bestow upon us continued success, prosperity, and perpetual blessings.
Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.”
Director of Public Security and Chairman of the Hajj Security Committee, Lieutenant General Mohammad bin Abdullah Al-Bassami, delivered a speech on behalf of the military sectors participating in the Hajj.
He highlighted how the state effectively utilizes human and technical resources and advanced artificial intelligence technology to enhance the Hajj experience and affirmed that these efforts have significantly streamlined the Hajj journey by saving time and effort and improving the quality of services provided to pilgrims.
He attributed the success of this year’s Hajj largely to the precision of the implemented security plans, which were meticulously developed in accordance with the highest standards and best practices in planning and organization. This achievement reflects the unwavering commitment of the wise leadership to ensuring the provision of the very best services for pilgrims.
The celebratory occasion also included a poetic recitation by Colonel Mishaal bin Mehmas Al-Harthi.
Following the speeches, the participants shook hands with HRH the Crown Prince and went on to attend a lunch with HRH the Crown Prince.
