(ONA) — The Ministry of Heritage and Tourism today signed 10 usufruct contracts worth RO 6 million to implement projects in the governorates of the Sultanate of Oman.
The contracts were signed by Salim Mohammed Al Mahrouqi, Minister of Heritage and Tourism, and representatives of the investment companies concerned.
The projects will come up in four governorates as follows:
In Dhofar Governorate, the projects include the setting up of a 3-star hotel and a rest house in the Wilayat of Salalah, the establishment of a tourist camp in the Al Khadhaf area in the Wilayat of Thumrait and the establishment of a 3-star tourist resort in the Wilayat of Shaleem W’al Halaniyyat Islands.
In the Governorate of A’Dakhiliyah, the projects include the setting up of a 3-star hotel, an adventure centre and a luxury tourist camp in Barkat Al Sharaf, in addition to a 3-star resort in Misfat Al Abriyyeen in the Wilayat of Al Hamra.
In the South Al Batinah Governorate, the projects include the establishment of two tourist camps in the Wilayat of Nakhal, one in Wadi Mistal and the other in Al Abyadh area.
In the Governorate of South A’Sharqiyah, a tourist camp will be established in the Wilayat of Jaalan Bani Bu Ali.
