The main moonsighting committee will hold a meeting tomorrow evening (Thursday 6 June 2024) at the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs to receive reports about the sighting, if ever, of the crescent moon of the month of Dhul-Hijjah 1445 AH.
The meeting will be chaired by Dr. Mohammed Said Al Ma’amari, Minister of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
The ministry calls upon citizens and residents to look out for the crescent moon and report to field teams in the wilayats of Oman or contact subcommittees in the offices of governors.
