Muscat – The Ministry of Labour (MoL) has issued a clarification regarding the recent social media reports about the termination of Omani employees at Bahwan Contracting Company.
In a statement issued by MoL said, ‘The ministry would like to report that it held several meetings over the past two days, represented by the Acting Undersecretary for Labour and representatives from the General Directorate of Labour Welfare, the General Union for Omani Workers, the company, and the affected employees. These discussions have resulted in the decision to reinstate all terminated staff.’
The ministry reaffirms its dedication to ensuring the stability and welfare of all citizens in the private sector, emphasising that it will continue to monitor and support efforts to protect workers’ rights and job security.
