(ONA) — Since it started operations in 2014, the Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) Fund, Inma, has provided financing worth RO 161 million for a total of 1,409 projects undertaken by SMEs in the Sultanate of Oman.
Inma Fund extended loan repayment period to maximum of 8 years for most of the ‘financing products’ that it offers. Inma provides asset financing, project financing, invoice discounting and capital financing. It offers a financing ceiling for SMEs that ranges from RO 50,000 to RO 500,000. It also offers a financing ceiling of up to RO 3 million for large projects.
Since its establishment, Inma Fund supported a large number of national projects that achieved tangible success and reflected positively on the national economy. Inma also contributed to propagation of the culture of entrepreneurship among Omani youth, encouraging them to establish their own business projects.
It is noteworthy that Inma Fund has allocated a total of RO 25 million for financing SMEs during 2024.
