The Sultanate of Oman has welcomed the decision issued today by the governments of Norway, Ireland and Spain to recognize the State of Palestine.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry today, Oman also expressed the hope that the rest of world countries that have not yet recognized the Palestinian state will follow suit, notably in support of the Palestinian people’s right to gain independence and freedom in accordance with international law.
