Chaired by Italian President Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinale Palace, Yasmin Al Balushi officially attended the meeting as a representative from the Sultanate of Oman.
Al Baushi attended a workshop on gender equality and women’s empowerment, which is considered one of the seventeen concepts of UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), presented by Ms. Laura Mattarella, Italy’s First Lady. She also attended another working paper on climate change, presided by Dr. Harbin Arora, the Founder and President of G100 and the Women’s Economic Forum. The conference witnessed the participation of representatives from more than 43 countries across the world.
