(ONA) — A total of 183 residents and 7 fellows will be joining various residency and fellowship programmes at Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB) starting from the 2023/2024 academic year.
Specialties and subspecialties include Adult Cardiology, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Intensive Care in the Royal Hospital and Medical Genetics, Adult Clinical Hematology in Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUS).
Accordingly, OMSB organized today its annual orientation day at Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre (OCEC).
The orientation programme started with a welcome speech delivered by Dr. Houd Abdullah Al Abri, Vice President for Academic Affairs, In charge of OMSB.
An introduction was also given on the post graduate training programmes and their activities, encouraging the new trainees to excel in their training journey. The programme was concluded with a panel discussion addressing trainees’ queries.
