In presence of 250 participants, interested in marketing and branding, Muscat Global Forum for Marketing and Branding was opened under the auspices of His Highness Sayyid Kamil bin Fahed Al Said, assistant secretary general for the Office of Deputy Prime Minister for the Council of Ministers. The event was held at the 5-star Grand Millennium Hotel Ballroom and organized by Smart Waves International. A number of global speakers in marketing and branding attended this event.
On the sidelines of the forum, many locally and regionally influencing brands were honored along with some individuals, who have made a unique imprint on society.
Creative Mind won the prize for best branding. Khawlah Al Amriah was honored as the most influencer for this year, based on the evaluation of establishing an integrated service portal in Human Resources. This also aimed at highlighting national leaders and staff in a professional way as well as producing an intellectually valuable content.
In addition, the forum addressed the content of branding that may contain a term, a symbol, a signal or a design or a combination of all. Vendors or manufacturers use these branding labels to distinguish their products and services from those provided by other competitors.
Branding is a real identification of any firm in the market and plays a vital role as it the connector between products and customers.
