At the end of October last year, the number of Omanis employed in the private sector with salaries exceeding 2,500 Omani rials reached 15,137, compared to 14,977 in September of the same year, reflecting a 1.1% increase.
According to statistics from the National Center for Statistics and Information, the total number of insured Omanis working in the private sector amounted to 274,449 at the end of October 2023, compared to 273,918 at the end of September of the same year, indicating a 0.2% increase.
The statistics also revealed that Omanis employed in the private sector, insured and earning a salary of less than 400 Omani rials, amounted to 70,455 by the end of October 2023.
