SPA — Chairman of the Arab Human Rights Committee, Jaber Al Marri, praised Saudi Arabia’s first periodic report on its efforts to uphold human rights and freedoms as outlined in the Arab Human Rights Charter.
Addressing the 22nd session of the Arab Human Rights Committee at the Arab League headquarters on Monday, Al Marri underscored the advancements in human rights within the Kingdom, as outlined in the report.
He also commended the report for its contribution to fostering an interactive dialogue between the government delegation and committee members.
During a visit to Saudi Arabia, the committee delegation observed the nation’s commitment to advancing human rights, said Al Marri.
He emphasized that the Saudi Vision 2030 exemplifies the Kingdom’s dedicated endeavors to promote human rights, foster a vibrant community, ensure a prosperous future, and build an ambitious nation.
