(ONA) — The Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) and Saint Petersburg State University in the Russian Federation today signed a cooperation agreement in the field of student exchange. The agreement benefits undergraduate and postgraduate students.
The agreement stems from the two universities’ plans for activating international cooperation in areas of common interest. It was signed by HH Dr. Mona Fahd Al Said, SQU Assistant Vice-Chancellor for International Cooperation and Dr. Sergey Vladimir Andryushin, Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Saint Petersburg State University.
Saint Petersburg State University is one of the oldest and most prestigious universities in the Russian Federation. It was founded in 1724 by Peter the Great and it has eversince established itself as a leading global institution that offers a wide range of academic programmes, including natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, engineering and medicine.
