Meethaq Wins Oman’s Best Domestic Bank Award from Euromoney  

In recognition of its leading role in providing banking services that comply with Islamic Shari’a principles, Meethaq Islamic Banking from Bank Muscat received the Best Domestic Islamic Bank Award in the Sultanate of Oman 2024 at the Euromoney Awards for Excellence. The award was received on behalf of the Bank by Mohammed Sultan Al Habsi, Chief Representative of the UAE Representative Office, Bank Muscat, at a recent ceremony held in Dubai in the presence of prominent industry figures from the Middle East and across the world.

“This achievement represents outstanding recognition by a reputed global organization and serves as a distinctive accolade to Meethaq’s record of success,” stated Sami Bait Rashid, Assistant General Manager, Meethaq Personal Banking. He added “This award reaffirms Meethaq’s leadership in providing various facilities and services compliant with the Shari’a, catering to the needs of different society segments.
