The Shura Council today held its 9th regular session for the 1st annual convening of the 10th term under the chairmanship of Khalid Hilal Al Ma’awali, Chairman of the Shura Council.
During the session, the council discussed a set of draft laws including a draft law on electronic transactions and a draft law regulating the transfer and transplantation of human organs and tissues.
It also reviewed a draft agreement to be signed between the Sultanate of Oman and the Republic of Cyprus on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of tax evasion with regard to income taxes, and a draft agreement with the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding joint administrative assistance in the field of customs.
