Omani Investment Authority Introduces “Jadarah” Digital Platform for Enhanced Employment and Training

The Omani Investment Authority, along with its affiliated companies, has launched the innovative “Jadarah” digital platform, marking a significant step towards strengthening employment and training processes in Oman. This initiative aligns with the government’s digital transformation efforts, focusing on simplifying procedures and ensuring the effective utilization of talents.

The “Jadarah” platform represents a unified digital hub, providing a comprehensive view of all employment opportunities, recruitment prospects, and training programs within the Omani Investment Authority and its subsidiary companies. It serves as a crucial link between the Authority, its subsidiary companies, and the public, driven by cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning. These technologies expedite and enhance the recruitment process, offer speedy access to reports and data, and provide insights into labor market trends and the most sought-after job profiles.

Saud bin Hilal Al Yahmadi, Assistant Deputy Chairman of the Omani Investment Authority for Human Resources and Change, emphasized the commitment of the Authority and its affiliated companies to attract and nurture skilled individuals. He highlighted the central role played by “Jadarah” in all aspects of recruitment and talent management. The platform is part of a broader strategy that includes multiple initiatives aimed at boosting employment opportunities for Omani nationals, fostering their development, training, refining the skills of graduates and job seekers, and preparing them for the job market. Additionally, “Jadarah” seeks to create job and training opportunities to contribute to sustainable development and economic prosperity.

Sultan bin Mohammed Al Alawi, Senior Manager of Employment and Talent Management at the Omani Investment Authority, stressed the significance of governance systems in the “Jadarah” platform. By offering a single digital station for recruitment, the platform ensures transparency and equality in job opportunities for all applicants, resulting in a fair and efficient recruitment process. “Jadarah” simplifies and automates the hiring process, reducing costs and saving time for job seekers. With a user-friendly interface, job seekers can effortlessly search for and apply for vacant positions. Moreover, the platform allows the Authority and its affiliated companies to centrally manage and assess job vacancies. It also broadens the reach of employment opportunities through digital features that are compatible with mobile devices and incorporate artificial intelligence to tailor job listings to each user’s personal profile.

The “Jadarah” platform is a testament to the Authority’s support for small and medium-sized enterprises, as it was designed by an Omani company.

The official launch of the “Jadarah” platform took place under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Mahad bin Said Ba’awain, Minister of Labor, and was attended by His Excellency Abdul Salam bin Mohammed Al Murshidi, Chairman of the Omani Investment Authority, along with officials from the Authority and its affiliated companies.
